Baja SAE
This is a Student run organization at Syracuse University where we design and machine parts to create an off-road vehicle to compete in regional competitions against other schools. I was involved in this club since freshman year and I have held roles of treasurer (sophomore year) and VP (junior year) in addition to working on the vehicle and assisting new members to learning the ins and outs of common engineering practices.
For my role as treasurer and VP, I had to complete a comprehensive cost reduction report, manage project budgets, develop a safety checklist, help organize and solicit funding, and participate in general club management activities.
